Soundboks originated in Denmark as a DIY project by three high school friends in 2014, driven by a mission to dominate the chaotic soundscape of the Roskilde Festival with unbreakable audio gear. Co-founder and CEO Jesper Thomsen led the charge, officially launching the brand in 2015 after relentless experimentation to create speakers that could endure wild outdoor nights.
