Infinity emerged in 1968 from a Woodland Hills, California garage, founded by Arnie Nudell, John Ulrick, and Cary Christie. Driven by Nudell's passion for classical music and innovative engineering, the trio launched with the groundbreaking Servo-Statik speaker system, featuring electrostatic panels paired with a servo-controlled woofer derived from defense technology. This American brand quickly gained traction through pioneering materials like neodymium magnets, mylar diaphragms, and polypropylene cones, establishing a legacy of pushing audio boundaries before acquisitions by Electro Audio Dynamics in 1974 and Harman International in 1983.
