Edwards Audio

Edwards Audio is a British hi-fi brand founded in 2009 by Kevin Edwards, who also founded TALK Electronics. It was launched with a clear aim: to design and manufacture affordable high-fidelity products in the UK, and its early identity was closely tied to British analogue audio.

The brand is best known for analogue-source and amplification products rather than a broad, all-purpose lineup. Its debut product was the MC1 phono stage, and its range has included turntables, phono stages and integrated amplifiers, with a strong emphasis on vinyl playback and companion electronics.

In the market, Edwards Audio sits in the affordable audiophile or value-driven boutique segment. The positioning is not high-end luxury; instead, it appeals to buyers who want UK-made, enthusiast-focused hi-fi with sensible pricing and a straightforward design philosophy. Its reputation is strongest among listeners looking for British analogue performance without entering specialist collector or statement-product territory.
