Notable for its efficient Class-T design and unusually capable power delivery, the Bel Canto eVo2i is a serious compact integrated rather than a novelty amp. At £550, this looks like a strong deal: recent used-market evidence places an example around £550, while the model’s original positioning and scarcity make that price properly attractive rather than merely fair.
Its appeal is the combination of a quiet, open, smooth presentation with real control—roughly 120 watts into 8 ohms and 200 watts into 4 ohms—plus balanced XLR input and useful line-level connectivity. It should suit demanding or difficult speakers while running cool and efficiently. Confirm that this is the 220–240V version, test the display, volume control and every input, and check that the remote and original power cord are included; otherwise, at £550, a clean working example is a buying opportunity.
