Offered is „NYQUIST MK2“ by Brinkmann Audio as new device from the category „D/A Converter“ on audio-markt.de - the online market place for high-end. The advert with the number 9733825205 ends on 30.10.2026 at 10:44 o'clock.
At €12,500, this sits essentially on top of the recent used market for this model, right around the €12,453 median and just above the €12,542 75th percentile, so it reads as fair rather than cheap or ambitious. For a current, specialized high-end DAC/streamer setup, that’s a sensible ask if the unit is clean and complete.
The upside here is straightforward: this is a highly regarded piece for detail, timing, and natural, low-fatigue presentation, and the included cables/accessories matter because replacing them can add real cost. If the listing is genuinely tidy and well cared for, this is the kind of used buy that makes sense for someone who wants the sound now without waiting for a bargain to appear.

Brinkmann Audio traces its origins to 1985 in Germany, when Helmut Brinkmann founded the company after selling his stake in Audiolabor, where he had developed acclaimed products like the Konstant turntable. Fans urged him to continue his innovations, leading to Brinkmann's debut with the legendary Balance turntable—a design still in continuous production today. Handcrafted entirely from German parts in Germany, the brand embodies Helmut's relentless pursuit of the "perfect illusion" of musical playback, rooted in engineering simplicity and enduring quality.
The company specializes in high-end analog components, renowned for its exceptional turntables, tonearms, and phono preamplifiers, with past offerings including phono cartridges. Brinkmann has expanded into electronics, producing preamplifiers, power amplifiers, and integrated amplifiers to complete the audio chain, while designing and manufacturing every element in-house for seamless synergy.
Positioned firmly in the ultra-high-end market, Brinkmann commands a cult following among discerning audiophiles for its refined German craftsmanship and uncompromising performance. It stands as a niche boutique icon, delivering magical, lifelike sound that elevates vinyl and digital playback to reference levels, appealing to collectors and perfectionists who demand the pinnacle of hi-fi artistry.
