Offered is „NYQUIST MK2“ by Brinkmann Audio as new device from the category „D/A Converter“ on audio-markt.de - the online market place for high-end. The advert with the number 1209364952 ends on 02.11.2026 at 17:29 o'clock.
This is a fair ask. At €12,500, it sits essentially on top of your used-market median of €12,441 and just above the 75th percentile of €12,521, so it reads as normal market value rather than a bargain or a stretch.
That makes it worth considering if the unit is clean, complete, and genuinely well cared for. This is a respected high-end DAC with a strong reputation for natural, analog-like presentation, and the listing’s inclusion of cables and accessories adds real value. At this price, the appeal is less about a deep discount and more about buying a desirable piece without paying a premium.

Brinkmann Audio traces its origins to 1985 in Germany, when Helmut Brinkmann founded the company after selling his stake in Audiolabor, where he had developed acclaimed products like the Konstant turntable. Fans urged him to continue his innovations, leading to Brinkmann's debut with the legendary Balance turntable—a design still in continuous production today. Handcrafted entirely from German parts in Germany, the brand embodies Helmut's relentless pursuit of the "perfect illusion" of musical playback, rooted in engineering simplicity and enduring quality.
The company specializes in high-end analog components, renowned for its exceptional turntables, tonearms, and phono preamplifiers, with past offerings including phono cartridges. Brinkmann has expanded into electronics, producing preamplifiers, power amplifiers, and integrated amplifiers to complete the audio chain, while designing and manufacturing every element in-house for seamless synergy.
Positioned firmly in the ultra-high-end market, Brinkmann commands a cult following among discerning audiophiles for its refined German craftsmanship and uncompromising performance. It stands as a niche boutique icon, delivering magical, lifelike sound that elevates vinyl and digital playback to reference levels, appealing to collectors and perfectionists who demand the pinnacle of hi-fi artistry.
