Seller's Description

Belden Iconoclast Speaker Cables A pair of acclaimed Belden Iconoclast Series 1 speaker cables. 2.75m each in length, in as new condition. I purchased new when they were only available in the USA.  Visit the new Belden Iconoclast website for lots of technical information and current pricing (USAD 1400 + shipping + Australia GST).  If you want more information please ask.  I only photographed one cable, the other presents the same.  Excellent cables but I have built another system (Linkwitz) using their cables so these are on the market.  Plus you get the cool box! Condition: As New / Mint Paym

Our Thoughts RADAR AI

This A$1,657 ask for the like-new Belden Iconoclast speaker cables is a fair price, sitting just above the median of A$1,622 from recent AUD comparables and well within the standard A$1,081–A$1,884 range. It is not a bargain, but it is certainly not ambitious; you are paying typical market value for a high-end cable in excellent condition.

The Iconoclast is well-regarded for delivering a clear, open, and detailed sound without harshness, leveraging Belden’s unique bonded-pair data-cable geometry insulated in Teflon. Its primary upside here is the like-new condition (AUD), meaning you avoid the degradation risks of aged cables while getting performance that rivals or exceeds many pricier audiophile brands in resolution and bass matching. With no listed caveats and a clean listing, this represents a solid buying opportunity for a proven, high-performance cable at a fair market rate.

About LINKWITZ

LINKWITZ is a specialist loudspeaker brand rooted in the work of Siegfried Linkwitz, the German-American engineer behind the influential Linkwitz Lab. The company’s modern identity traces to his loudspeaker research and to the continuation of that work after his death in 2018; the brand is closely associated with Germany and with Linkwitz’s long-running design philosophy rather than a broad consumer-audio empire.

Its core focus is high-end loudspeakers, especially large-format active dipole and holographic systems such as the LX521 series. Available information points strongly to speaker systems, associated amplifier packages, and related accessories rather than a wide catalog of turntables, DACs, headphones, or cables. The brand is therefore much more specialist than generalist hi-fi makers.

In market terms, LINKWITZ sits in the niche boutique high-end segment. Its products are aimed at serious listeners who value accuracy, imaging, and custom-like engineering over mainstream convenience, and its reputation is tied to a very particular school of loudspeaker design rather than mass-market recognition.
