Offered is „ModWright Transporter Truth – 240V – One Owner, Never Used, Original Invoice“ by ModWright Instruments as new device from the category „Streaming transport with integrated DAC“ on audio-markt.de - the online market place for high-end. The advert with the number 8222269812 ends on 23.11.2026 at 09:28 o'clock.
At €2,450, this looks like a strong buy versus the recent used market and sits below the €2,406 first-quartile anchor by only a hair, so it’s effectively bargain territory. Against a €3,111 median and €6,185 upper quartile, the asking price is clearly attractive rather than merely fair.
That’s especially true for a one-owner, never-used unit with the original invoice, which is exactly the kind of provenance that matters on a boutique digital piece. ModWright’s Transporter Truth is well regarded for a more organic, refined presentation than the stock unit, and clean ownership history lowers the usual risk on older source gear. If the 240V spec matches your system and the package is complete, this is the sort of listing worth moving on quickly.
Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.
ModWright Instruments is an American hi-fi brand founded in 2000 by Dan Wright, who remains the company’s founder and chief designer. The company is based in Amboy, Washington, and began as a modification outfit for digital audio products before evolving into a full component manufacturer.
Today, ModWright is best known for high-end tube and hybrid electronics, especially preamplifiers, phono stages, power amplifiers, headphone amplifiers, and DACs. Its product line also includes some solid-state amplification, but the brand’s identity is rooted in analog-friendly, meticulously voiced components rather than loudspeakers, turntables, or accessories.
In the market, ModWright sits firmly in the high-end, niche-boutique segment. Its reputation is built on handcrafted build quality, a strong tube-audio aesthetic, and a “musical” presentation that appeals to experienced listeners looking for refinement and character rather than mass-market convenience.
