At €1,300, the obvious alternative is a newer flagship DAP—or a DX320 with an upgraded amplifier module—and this listing is clearly ambitious. Recent comparable asking prices have a €230 median, with the 75th percentile at €765; €1,300 sits far beyond that range, so “excellent” condition alone does not make it competitive.
The DX320 remains a genuinely accomplished player: its natural, highly resolving sound, strong dynamics, generous stage, and interchangeable amplifier module make it unusually flexible, while the 2.5 mm, 3.5 mm, and 4.4 mm outputs suit almost any headphone setup. The stock accessories, especially the case and screen protection, add useful value, but not enough to bridge this price gap. Unless this is a particularly rare configuration with a premium AMP module and complete original packaging, it is a pass; a substantially lower figure would be the buying opportunity.
