A$499 is a fair asking price, sitting just above the A$466 median for 67 comparable used listings but comfortably below the A$637 75th percentile. It is not a bargain—the A$213 25th-percentile figure marks the genuinely cheap territory—but it is reasonable if the unit is complete and clean.
The Kunlun is a serious desktop amplifier: fully discrete GaN-based circuitry, balanced operation, very low output impedance, and up to 7.4W per channel into 32 ohms make it a strong match for demanding planar headphones while still accommodating sensitive IEMs. Its neutral, resolving presentation and useful balanced inputs and outputs add real system flexibility. With condition listed as unknown, confirm the volume control is smooth, all outputs work, and the linear power supply and original accessories are included; at A$499, completeness matters.
