Three recent comparable listings put the Meridian G06.2 at a €698 median, with the lower quartile at €589 and upper quartile at €774. At €480, this excellent-condition example sits well below the 25th percentile: a genuine bargain rather than merely a fair buy.
The G06.2 remains a highly capable, refined CD player, combining a robust slot-loading transport, strong error correction, low-jitter buffering, and a carefully designed analogue output stage. Its sound is typically clean, open, precise, and musically composed, with excellent stereo focus; coaxial and optical outputs also make it useful with an external DAC. At this price, condition matters mainly in confirming reliable disc loading and reading, plus the remote and original accessories, but a clean, fully working unit represents an unusually attractive entry into Meridian’s higher-end G Series.
