Prima Luna Evo 400, Consonance Linear 1, Audio Research Ref 1 & Ref 3). This full-sized unit (being a preamp/headphone amp only) discernibly renders still higher level of refinement.
At A$6,500, this MicroZOTL preamp is ambitiously priced, sitting well above the 75th percentile (A$6,080) of recent AUD listings and exceeding the median (A$4,597) by roughly A$900. While new Level 3 models retail around A$9,000–A$9,500 (converted from US $5,950), the used market anchor here suggests A$6,500 is a stretch unless the unit is Level 3 with premium tubes or original-owner pristine condition.
