At €400 in excellent condition, this is a little above the €206 median and sits just under the €408 75th percentile, so it reads as a fair-to-strong ask rather than a bargain. It’s not cheap, but it’s also not a stretch for a well-kept example of a sought-after party speaker.
The appeal here is straightforward: it’s a big, high-output box with strong bass, plenty of headroom, long battery life, and versatile inputs, and it has a solid reputation for sounding lively without falling apart at volume. If the battery is healthy and the original charger is included, a clean, lightly used unit at this level makes sense for someone who wants serious portable output without paying new-stock money.
Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.
Teufel is a German audio brand with roots in Berlin, where it was founded in 1979 by Carl Teufel. Emerging during the heyday of home hi-fi enthusiasm, the company built its heritage on engineering-driven innovation, initially focusing on custom speaker designs that prioritized precision and dynamic sound reproduction for discerning listeners.
The brand excels in active speakers and soundbars, alongside wireless multi-room systems, headphones, and portable Bluetooth options. While not delving into amplifiers, turntables, DACs, or cables, Teufel emphasizes integrated solutions with built-in amplification and app-controlled streaming, catering to modern home entertainment setups.
Positioned as a mid-tier contender with premium aspirations, Teufel enjoys a strong reputation in Europe for delivering high-value performance—bold bass, spacious imaging, and robust build quality—that punches above its price point. It appeals to knowledgeable buyers seeking reliable, stylish hi-fi without ultra-high-end excess, holding a solid niche in the competitive consumer audio market.
