Offered is „Brinkmann Vorverstärker mit MM-Phono – Erstes historisches Modell (Recappt 2017 & Schutzschaltung 2020)“ by Brinkmann Audio as second-hand device from the category „Pre-Amplifier / Processor“ on audio-markt.de - the online market place for high-end. The advert with the number 7786462982 ends on 23.12.2026 at 17:02 o'clock.
The “good” condition is a strong positive, especially with the 2017 recap and 2020 protection-circuit work already documented. At €1,250, this is an outright bargain against the 24-listing market: it sits far below the €5,208 25th percentile and €7,500 median, rather than merely being a little under market.
The appeal is its rarity as an early Brinkmann preamplifier, combined with a built-in MM phono stage and meaningful preventative servicing. Brinkmann’s analogue designs are valued for transparency, precision, and careful phono implementation, while this example’s updated protection circuitry makes ownership less worrying than its age alone might suggest. Confirm the recap paperwork, verify quiet operation on both line and MM inputs, and check that the power supply and all controls are included—but assuming those basics check out, this is a very easy recommendation at €1,250.

Brinkmann Audio traces its origins to 1985 in Germany, when Helmut Brinkmann founded the company after selling his stake in Audiolabor, where he had developed acclaimed products like the Konstant turntable. Fans urged him to continue his innovations, leading to Brinkmann's debut with the legendary Balance turntable—a design still in continuous production today. Handcrafted entirely from German parts in Germany, the brand embodies Helmut's relentless pursuit of the "perfect illusion" of musical playback, rooted in engineering simplicity and enduring quality.
The company specializes in high-end analog components, renowned for its exceptional turntables, tonearms, and phono preamplifiers, with past offerings including phono cartridges. Brinkmann has expanded into electronics, producing preamplifiers, power amplifiers, and integrated amplifiers to complete the audio chain, while designing and manufacturing every element in-house for seamless synergy.
Positioned firmly in the ultra-high-end market, Brinkmann commands a cult following among discerning audiophiles for its refined German craftsmanship and uncompromising performance. It stands as a niche boutique icon, delivering magical, lifelike sound that elevates vinyl and digital playback to reference levels, appealing to collectors and perfectionists who demand the pinnacle of hi-fi artistry.
