Klein, maar ongelofelijk dapper ! Deze monitors geven een prachtig geluidsbeeld. Stuur ze aan met een goede voorversterker of dac met volumeregeling en u zult versteld staan. Nu kosten ze €555,-
Compared with buying new, €750 is a touch above the usual used sweet spot for this model, which clusters around the low-€700s; against your own benchmark, it sits just above the €702 median and below the €731 75th percentile, so this reads as a fair-to-slightly-ambitious ask rather than a bargain. It is not overpriced enough to be a red flag, but it also is not the kind of under-market find that should move instantly.
The KH 80 DSP is well regarded because it gives you genuinely serious nearfield performance in a compact box: tight imaging, clean midrange, and the kind of DSP flexibility that makes it easier to integrate in real rooms. If the pair is clean, complete, and includes the essentials, it’s a sensible buy for someone who wants reference-grade compact monitors without stepping up to a bigger, more expensive setup.

Neumann traces its origins to Berlin, Germany, where Georg Neumann and Erich Rickmann founded the company in 1928. Initially focused on pioneering condenser microphones, such as the groundbreaking CMV 3—nicknamed "The Bottle"—Neumann quickly established itself as an innovator amid the early days of professional audio. Despite wartime disruptions that split production and led to the creation of Microtech Gefell, Georg Neumann rebuilt in post-war Berlin, launching the iconic U 47 tube-condenser microphone, which solidified the brand's legacy in recording history.
The brand specializes in professional recording equipment, renowned for its high-end condenser microphones like the U 47, U 67, and U 87, which dominate studios worldwide. Beyond mics, Neumann produces studio monitors, headphones, preamplifiers, audio interfaces such as the recent MT 48, and historically excelled in cutting lathes for mastering. This pro-audio emphasis sets it apart from consumer hi-fi categories like amplifiers, turntables, or cables.
Neumann commands an elite position in the market as the gold standard for professional recording, embodying precision engineering and unmatched fidelity prized by engineers and producers. Its products grace legendary sessions, blending vintage reverence with modern reliability, making it essential for discerning hi-fi enthusiasts seeking studio-grade accuracy rather than mid-tier or boutique consumer gear.
