Against 64 recent comparable Australian listings, the A$448 median and A$212 lower quartile put this A$250 example comfortably below typical market—near the bargain end, though just above the 25th-percentile cutoff. Assuming it is complete and working, that is a strong price rather than merely fair.
The Nunchaku is an unusually capable portable DAC/amp: dual CS43198 conversion, balanced 4.4 mm output, and switchable JAN6418 tube and Class AB modes give it both warmth and a cleaner, more neutral presentation. It also delivers substantial power for IEMs and many headphones, with up to 525 mW per channel in balanced mode. Check that both outputs function, the tube mode is quiet, and the USB-C connection is reliable; it has no internal battery, so it draws power from the source. At A$250, complete accessories would make this especially attractive.
